Every piece we create begins in the same place - scripture.

Not a trend. Not a color palette. Not a design idea. 

A verse. 

From there, we spend some time with the text and look for imagery, themes and symbolism that stand out to us. Sometimes the connection is obvious. Other times it's something that takes shape slowly through reflection.

The goal isn't to illustrate a verse word for word.

It's to create artwork that captures its meaning.

That's why our designs don't rely on oversized slogans or obvious messaging. We're interested in creating something people can wear that carries meaning beneath the surface. 

A small verse on the front. A large image on the back. 

At first glance, they may seem unrelated. But, we you read the verse and look over the image again, the connection reveals itself.

That's intentional. 

Some people will simply appreciate the design. Others will recognize the scripture. And, some will discover the deeper relationship between the two. 

Every design starts with a verse. Everything else follows.
